Vision and mission
Created in 1982 and re-energized with a newly focused mission in 2008, Hendricks Regional Health Foundation provides philanthropic opportunities for raising awareness and funding to support Hendricks Regional Health’s efforts to improve the health and wellness of our community.
In February 2010, Foundation Chair Jo Mead-Rush presented hospital CEO Dennis Dawes with a check for $143,000 which represents proceeds from the Foundation's 2009 golf outing, auction, associate and physician campaigns and community fundraising efforts. Included in the total were $39,000 in college scholarships for Hendricks County students majoring in health care careers, $81,000 for the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA building project, and $23,000 to Hendricks Regional Health programs including $10,000 for community health screenings.
Charitable giving is an integral part of health care’s success and helps pave the way by assisting Hendricks Regional Health continue its leadership role in the west suburban area as a vital health care provider for all who need its life-changing and life-saving services.
Vision
The Hendricks Regional Health Foundation shall establish and develop ongoing opportunities for friends, including individuals, organizations and businesses, to provide the philanthropic support needed to sustain the mission of Hendricks Regional Health.
Mission
The mission of the Hendricks Regional Health Foundation is to obtain gifts and grants to support initiatives of Hendricks Regional Health that enhance the health and well being of the communities we serve.
