About Hendricks Regional Health Foundation
Created in 1982 and re-energized with a newly focused mission in 2009, Hendricks Regional Health Foundation provides philanthropic opportunities to raise awareness of and funding to support initiatives of Hendricks Regional Health, an independent non-profit health system. Donated funds help improve patient comfort, safety, medical care, and community health. Contributions are directed to health services for people in need, community outreach efforts that promote wellness, and equipment and services that improve the patient experience. They help save lives.
Charitable giving is an integral part of our Treat People Better philosophy. It helps Hendricks Regional Health continue its leadership role in the west suburban area as an indispensable health care partner for all who need its life-changing and life-saving services. News of our activities and accomplishments is shared with donors and friends in our quarterly newsletter and our annual report.

Mobile Telestroke Program
For patients experiencing a stroke, every second counts. The wonders of technology now make it possible to reduce a patient’s time from initial evaluation to treatment at Hendricks Regional Health, potentially reducing devastating physical and cognitive side effects.
How? A special mobile telestroke program. The only one of its kind in the area, made possible by the ingenuity, knowledge, and collaboration of HRH neurologist Dr. Scott Cline, our Emergency Department (ED) and Information Systems teams, EMS partners throughout the county, plus HRH Foundation’s fundraising efforts. Learn more about this innovative new program here.
