Hendricks Regional Health Foundation directly supports Hendricks Regional Health, a nonprofit, independent health system that began as a grassroots movement in the mid-1950s and was driven by our community's collective determination for quality, local healthcare.

A unified effort by dedicated citizens and organizations led to the establishment of the local hospital, a tradition of committed advocacy that continues to thrive today.

With their relentless fundraising effort and committed advocacy, the 70-bed Hendricks County Hospital opened its doors in May 1962, epitomizing the enduring power of community-led endeavors. Since then, Hendricks Regional Health has served individuals and families with a commitment to delivering accessible, cutting-edge healthcare services. By embracing the latest medical technologies and advancements in care, the hospital ensures residents need not travel far to receive exceptional treatment.

The Foundation is committed to improving healthcare access and quality, propelled by the same grassroots determination that brought the hospital to life more than sixty years ago.

As a separate tax-exempt 501(c)3 entity, the Foundation provides funding for the network's essential community outreach programs and health services. Through development initiatives with individuals, local businesses, organizations, and our own associates, the Foundation helps the hospital uphold a legacy and mission based on serving the community.
