About Hendricks Regional Health Foundation
Created in 1982 and re-energized with a newly focused mission in 2009, Hendricks Regional Health Foundation provides philanthropic opportunities to raise awareness of and funding to support initiatives of Hendricks Regional Health, an independent non-profit health system. Donated funds help improve patient comfort, safety, medical care, and community health. Contributions are directed to health services for people in need, community outreach efforts that promote wellness, and equipment and services that improve the patient experience. They help save lives. Charitable giving is an integral part of our Treat People Better philosophy. It helps Hendricks Regional Health continue its leadership role in the west suburban area as an indispensable health care partner for all who need its life-changing and life-saving services. News of our activities and accomplishments is shared with donors and friends in a quarterly newsletter and our annual report.

We are grateful to generous sponsors and guests whose donations and participation raised more than $130,000 in net proceeds to support quality medical care at Hendricks Regional Health for our community.
Little Things Make a Big Difference
Hendricks Regional Health Foundation has provided $143,509 for 44 projects through an internal grant program, including patient discharge notebooks and funds for many other outreach programs and equipment like those noted below. These projects improve patient comfort, safety and enhance medical care for our patients and community. Ranging from $198 to $31,000, these grants help patients and caregivers get the Treat People Better care they expect and deserve. Additionally, HRH Foundation has provided more than $175,000 for health services for people in need and community health education and screenings.
